Hi. =)
I was wondering if anyone had a tutorial to do this:

I did find this one, but I'm looking for one that allows you to to work with an image (or brush, or whatever), rather than text.
Much appreciated!! |

| Sharpening Using High Pass Tool |
[Dec. 10th, 2009|10:33 pm] |
Sometimes the sharpening tool on Photoshop just doesn't cut it. I don't always sharpen icons, but sometimes they need it. I accidentally stumbled upon a tutorial directing people how to use high pass to sharpen images. I thought it was amazing and knew I had to share it with you all!
So, from this: you have this: rather than this:
I exaggerated the bad sharpening on purpose.
Program: Photoshop Elements 4 Steps: Two? Three? Difficulty: Easy peasy. Translatable: I think so. All you need is overlay and high pass. PSD: Nope
( It's pure magic! ) |

> ( tutorial )
I'm not very good at explaining my reasoning, mainly because when I color icons I just fiddle around until it looks right. I'll usually add steps out of order, and so when I write a tutorial for it it's not at all in the order I made the icon. But I hope this helps. :) (plus it was a nice distraction from studying for finals!)

[Dec. 10th, 2009|02:40 pm] |
Hey guys, needed a little help. There was a tut list that had either a majority (or maybe all, I can't remember) of animated icons (ie, disney cartoons, anime, pixar) but I can't find it. Does anyone know where I can find it?
Thanks :D |

| Save dialog box is huge |
[Dec. 9th, 2009|11:23 pm] |
This is kind of an odd problem that I've never seen here before.
I use Photoshop CS2.
Somehow, I don't know how, I managed to mess up my save dialog box and now it's huge. There is no minimize button to make it smaller, so I'm wondering if anyone knows of a keyboard combination that will get it to go back to it's regular size because this huge size is really annoying.
The dialog box to open a file is huge as well.
Example: click the thumbnail

Thank you for any help. |
